HOW YOUR DATA IS COLLECTED FOR ONLINE ADVERTISEMENT | HOW MICRO ADVERTISEMENT WORK

How do you earn online? One of the easy ways is to display ads to your user and make money of it.But how do get the knowledge of what a user specifically wants? Let's find out.

Internet is a open place for the user, so when a user uses it, the data from the net gets converted to information which then is used to deliver you ads.Afterall, internet is free for all and when you are not paying for that product, then you are the product. The following are the sources by which the data is collected.

DATA FROM BROWSING HISTORY :  Once when I searched for a headphone on amazon, its                advertisement appeared when I opened my wallpaper app because it had my browsing data.
On one occasion I was checking various universities which offered a masters degree in Australia on my laptop, and when I launched YouTube app on my phone, the first ad I received was of university of Queensland. The fact that I was logged in with the same ID on my phone was a hint for Google to give that ad.Even when my location was turned off, It proactively tracked me as I was having dinner in a hotel and asked me to review It when I reached home.

DATA FROM CAMERA : It's obvious that Google wants you to stay at there platform as long as possible, so when I showed a app named nandoo to my friend, it popped in his "recommended list" in play store even though his phone was in his pocket the entire time. Here my camera's data was taken as an input to suggest it to my friend's phone.

DATA FROM SEARCHES : Online food delivery companies gives you discounts all the time, but how exactly do they cope up with that loss? They sell your data as well.
I was searching for ice cream shops near Banjara Hills on zomato, but couldn't find thing special so I continued my studies and it took less than two minutes for Dunkin Donuts to send me a text message, which provided me with a coupon to get 20% off on my purchase. Now how in the world did DD got to know that I was craving for something sweet? It's because it paid Zomato a amount for which he'll provide the data of the user's which had a hunger for something suggery.

DATA FROM CALLS : A friend of mine was talking with his brother about different ideas of sofa sets on call and suddenly an ad of a sofa seller came on his Fb feed. The surprising face is that later on his brother tagged him in a picture of the same vendor that he initially saw.

In conclusion, All these experiences weren't some wizardry magic. All these are well thought plans to specifically target audience to display precisely the advertisement they wanted to see.

WHY SAMSUNG GALAXY S10 WONT BE SUCCESSFUL

Samsung is out with there latest galaxy device and even though Samsung are proud of there offering, it won't be as successful as it's predecessors
The following are the some of the reasons why I think the same.

 1. MARKET SATURATION : There is no denail that smartphones sales are decreasing. Since 2017, there is a constant decline in the percentage of units sold in the world. Customers buying a phone aren't upgrading it as there current device is more than enough to serve well for 2-3 years. The S10 line up doesn't bring anything outstanding to distinguish from others, yes the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner hidden beneath the glass is something new and the reverse wireless charging is a cool way to surprise your friends, but none of them are ground breaking to turn the customers head. Some if them argue that the galaxy fold and S10 5G version might be a step towards innovation, but later I'll explain why that won't be thrilling this year.

2. PRICES : When a customer pays a over ₹50,000 on his Smartphone, he expects it to last atleast 2 years without any major problems, so when a manufacturer charges more for his phone, it's natural that it won't sell much and same is the case with all the S10's which start at minimum of ₹50,000 and the plus varient costs ₹73,000 ( mind it these are only the base prices ). So until they bring down the price, it's hard for them to compell to the market.

3. 1st GEN MODELS : As stated above , the galaxy fold and the new 5G model was something Samsung was very excited to introduce, but if you ask me they have to go a long way to make it to the pockets of people
First let's start with the 5G, as enticing it may sound, it's still not ready for prime time. None of the carrier supports 5G and no matter how fast they try to adopt the market, the time they will be ready for complete use it will already be time for the next NOTE product So the 5G model still looks like a distant dream for the world. As for the foldable phone , it's durability is a thing which has a lot of people rolling there eyes as no one knows how that plastic screen would age as the time passes

Overall it looks like the phone will not sell like hotcakes like it's predecessors did but time will say.
